The Magical Urushi Yellow is built on a saturated yellow urushi base, carrying a bright, consistent tone across the barrel and cap. That base is interrupted by a wide range of embedded inclusions—gold fragments along with red, green, and darker elements—distributed across the surface in an irregular pattern.
It doesn’t follow a set structure.
The inclusions vary in size and density, with some areas appearing more open and others more concentrated. Certain fragments read as small flecks, while others form larger, more defined shapes. The distribution feels spontaneous, but controlled within the overall form of the pen.
The Bamboo Clip
This version is fitted with a textured, gold-toned bamboo-style clip. It introduces a distinct visual element.
The segmented form and surface texture contrast with the smooth lacquer, adding structure to the overall presentation. The bamboo shape brings a recognizable motif without dominating the design, and its vertical alignment helps anchor the more active surface pattern.
